Moonlight Mandarin

Moonlight Mandarin was inspired by my Water Series; there I explored the geometry of water as it is displaced by mandarin ducks. Taking it one step further, I imagined how moonlight could be transformed as it fell over a mandarin duck. Optics play a role in the manipulation of form.

Can you begin to see patterns within patterns, inviting you to assume that the duck might be a shadow of itself?
